In Microsoft windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10, the battery icon sometime disappears automatically. This issue happened with me two times a month ago, also one of my friend recently faced this issue too. When the battery icon disappears from taskbar, you are unable to see your laptop battery status. To check your remaining battery power status you will go to Power Options in control panel, which is really annoying and time wasting. Following is the snapshot of taskbar where battery icon is disappeared and we need to fix this issue.
Step 1. Go to Device Manager first by right clicking on Start Menu.
Step 2. Expand the battery options, here you will see Microsoft AC Adapter and Microsoft ACPI.
Step 3. Disable both Microsoft AC Adapter and Microsoft ACPI, by right click and disable. (See Snapshot)
Step 4. It will display a warning message but don’t worry. Accept it by clicking YES. Remember you have to disable both (Ac Adapter + ACPI) one by one.
